Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VidyaGate mobile application and web services ("Service") provided by Shukri Digital Solutions ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
VidyaGate is a school enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform that helps schools manage students, attendance, fees, staff, and communication. Parents and teachers access school-authorized information through mobile and web interfaces.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- Accounts are created or authorized by your school. You must provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must notify your school or us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- You must be at least 18 years old to register as a parent/guardian, or use the Service with parental/school consent as applicable.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
- Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
- Misuse student or staff personal data obtained through the Service.
- Reverse engineer or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
4. School responsibility
Schools using VidyaGate are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter, obtaining necessary consents from parents/guardians, and complying with applicable education and data protection laws. We act as a technology service provider to schools.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, logos, and content (excluding school-entered data), is owned by Shukri Digital Solutions and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or school-authorized purposes.
6. Push notifications & communications
By enabling notifications, you consent to receive alerts about attendance, fees, and school announcements. You may disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHUKRI DIGITAL SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (or your school) for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We or your school may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email where appropriate.
